First blog post

This marks the beginning of community service for the group CS2 We have planned our journey such that we will be completing up to 24 hours and perhaps if we feel like contributing more to the community we will do so. Our plans are focused on recycling. As such, a few facts regarding recycle:

• Aluminum cans can be recycled and ready to use in just 6 weeks.
• Glass is 100% recyclable and can be used again and again.
• It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of newspaper.
• Plastic can take up to 500 years to decompose.

We are certainly looking forward to our contribution to the society and most importantly to the environment. We hope by doing this community service we would understand the importance of recycling and learn more about how we can save the environment. Do look forward to our next post when we started to do our first activity.
